Stardust gladly attaches its name to companies and institutions that pursue class and quality out of passion. Furthermore, a partnership with Stardust means so much more than just a business agreement. Stardust distinguishes itself by its huge creativity and is capable to think along in an inspiring way. Because of this specific and personal approach, Stardust often succeeds in binding partners for a longer period of time and for several productions.

Stardust is one of the largest Dutch theatre producers and has contacts in Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Spain and Portugal. In the field of theatre shows, Stardust has built up a broad reputation. Rembrandt The Musical had a six-month run in the Royal Theatre Carré in 2006. The production was written to celebrate the 400th Rembrandt Memorial Year.  Stardust produced musicals such as La Cage aux Folles, Grease, Annie and brought the house down with All-Black musicals, including: Josephine, The Sound of Motown, The Glory of Gospel, Mahalia, and A Night at the Cotton Club, which made Stardust the first Dutch producer with a show on London’s West End.

For many years now, Stardust has felt sympathetic towards dance. The performances of The London Royal Ballet with the illustrious couple Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev are especially memorable. Stardust producer Henk van der Meijden was personally responsible for star dancer Nureyev’s close collaboration with the Dutch National Ballet. Michael Barichnikov had his great breakthrough during one of the Stardust tours. Stardust brought the Bolshoi Ballet to the Netherlands various times. In 2009, the famous Mariinsky Kirov Ballet performed in Amsterdam. Stardust is the only Dutch producer that brings such large international productions to the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. 2017 will see the return of The Greatest Swan Lake in the World from the Shanghai Ballet, choreographed by Derek Deane.

Stardust has produced hundreds of concerts throughout the past forty years. From jazz, pop, popular to classical. With the “Ode to Amadeus” and “The New London Chorale” concerts, a new broad audience was attracted.

In the field of circus, Stardust may call itself a market leader in Europe. In cooperation with the Dutch Theatre Agency, Stardust has brought the circus tradition of the Royal Theatre Carré back to life. The World Christmas Circus has been a dazzling family event, with only the world’s best circus acts, since 1985. With the Weltweihnachtscircus in Stuttgart (since 1992), Stardust has definitely left its mark on Germany. Cirque Stiletto was the surprise par excellence of 2009 in Carré. The show around Ellen ten Damme was received with cheers by both the press and the public, a sequel followed in 2013 and in 2015 singer Karin Bloemen took over the show for a third installment.

Because of our many international contacts, Stardust has become a partner of the Circus Festival of Monte Carlo. Stardust has presented numerous acts to the festival, of which many have been awarded with the ‘Golden Clown’, the Oscar of the circusworld.

In short: Stardust is the perfect partner in order to shed the light on your company or product.
